Mahesh Naalla
Student Employee

Mahesh is a student safety inspector for Environmental Health & Safety.

Mahesh is an expert on inspecting lab safety equipment, including exhaust hoods, safety showers, and eyewash stations.  Currently, Mahesh  is working on conducting yearly safety inspections for the lab equipment on campus, and is also beginning inspections of general lab safety compliance and classroom safety..

August 2006-Present:  NMSU Graduate School.  Working on Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering

Mahesh obtained his Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering in Spring 2006 in India.

          May 2007-Present:  Student Safety Inspector for Environmental health & Safety

         August 2006-Present:  Research, Lab, and Teaching Assistant for the Chemical Engineering Dept.

 Mahesh is originally from Hyderabad, India.  When he's not too busy with school and work,    he enjoys watching movies and chatting with friends in India.  He is also an active member of the Indian Students' Association and interested in participating in group activities.

Mahesh is currently working on his Master's Thesis, which is about the simulation of MOF-5--information crucial to the future development of safer hydrogen-fueled automobiles.
