Dime y Te Dire Student Anthology

An Anthology of ENLACE students stories and poetry will be published annually. The concept behind this project is to value student's voices and experiences by encouraging them to write for each other and for memeber of their community. The program is based on the Humanities Out Thereproject developed by the University of California Irvine, to help improve limited English proficient student writing and language skills. As explained in Everthing I See Is God (the Humanities Out Therestudent anthology), this program benefits students because they learn to write for a wider audience, and they learn the transformative power of language. Finally, in their interaction with NMSU college students ENLACE students will see positive role models and develop an interest to pursue a college education something they may not have seriously considered or desired without the influence of the college-student tutors.
