Why donate to the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center?

We invite you to join our faculty, staff, alumni, and other friends of the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center who support the Center financially. By giving to the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center, you can help us augment our resources needed to provide scholarships to our gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and ally students to attend conferences for their professional development and education, to sponsor Lavender Graduation Diversity stoles, to purchase materials needed to expand the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center and to bring nationally known speakers for GLBTQ Week held during the spring semester.

Levels of Sponsorship:

• Rainbow: Exceptional gifts to the Resource Center (over $650 annual gift)
• Pride: $650 annual gift
• Stonewall: $350 annual gift
• Lavender: $150 annual gift

Can I make a donation by check?
Yes. Please make your check payable to: "NMSU Foundation" and in the memo line write "SGDRC". Please return your donations to the SGDRC:

Can I make a donation online?
Yes. Please visit the following website: NMSU Foundation. When entering your gift information, select "Find a Giving Area/Fund" and type "Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center" in the search box that opens. It will list SGDRC Current Use or SGDRC Scholarship. Select the fund you wish to donate to by double-clicking it.

Is there a payroll deduction form if I am staff or faculty at NMSU?
Yes, you can download it here. Please fill it out and return it to the Sexual and Gender Diversity Resource Center.

Is my donation to the SGDRC tax deductible?
Yes. Please consult your tax advisor for further clarification.
