Advisory Committees

STAC Student Technology Advisory Committee

STAC is a collaboration of students from all colleges here at NMSU. The focus of the group is to help drive initiatives in technology across campus, primarily through the Campus-Wide Technology Fee. The students on this committee help formulate new ideas, new projects, assist in project details, and are also the primary go-to group for ICT when dealing with student concerns. The group’s primary task is to ensure students voices are heard for all issues related to technology and students here at NMSU. For more information regarding the Student Technology Fee, click here.

ACANS Association of Computing and Networking Support

ACANS is the university wide organization for individuals who work with, or are interested in, technology at New Mexico State University (NMSU). ACANS represents all the individuals that support other people’s use of computer, network, and various other technologies, either full or part time. Every college and branch campus of NMSU is included in the ACANS community. ACANS is dedicated to keeping the broad range of members connected by bridging communication between those working with technology and the rest of the NMSU community by showcasing the technology being used within NMSU.
