Practice testing is not required but is recommended. Practice testing and test preparation is offered, at no charge, by the Quintana Learning Center, Doña Ana Community College. They may assist you with the cost of some of your tests if you meet their requirements. For more information, call (575) 527-7540 or click here.
Register to Take One or More GED Tests

Note: You must have successfully established your eligibility to test before you can register. How to register:
- Complete your GED registration form being sure to circle your chosen test date or dates.
- If your test is a retake, it is your responsibility to make sure you meet any retake time requirements.
- Mail or bring your GED registration form and the correct amount of cash, or a voucher, or a money order made out to NMSU. Do not send cash in the mail. Please click on link: payment information section.
You will be registered if your registration is complete, and the test or test dates you have chosen have seats available. You will receive a copy of your registration form if you are registered. For a free required visitor parking permit, log on to the NMSU Parking Division website or visit them next to the NMSU Police Station on the corner of Union & College Ave. Refer all parking questions to NMSU Parking Division (575) 646-1839.
