| MISSION | |||||||||||||
| Vehicle Detector Clearinghouse (VDC) is to provide information to transportation agencies on the capabilities of commercially available vehicle detectors by gathering,organizing, and sharing information concerning tests and test procedures in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Equipment types included in the VDC are devices which detect vehicle presence, speed, axles, classification (AVC), and weight (WIM). The clearinghouse will be a catalyst for developing standard test protocols. | |||||||||||||
