In the last issue of Panorama, we asked readers to tell us whether they thought NMSU's mascot, Pistol Pete, should be updated or replaced to better reflect NMSU's traditions and its future.
Unfortunately, less than 1 percent of our readers replied, which compromises the survey results.
So we are examining the options with the help of our Alumni Association Board and we will give you a progress report shortly. Stay tuned!
Alumni will soon have a chance to show their Aggie pride by purchasing these vanity license plates. The plates are expected to be available through the Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) late this summer.
