The New Mexico Space Grant Consortium building was dedicated in honor of Col. (USAF Ret.) Leonard R. “Len” Sugerman ’84 (center), a longtime supporter of the consortium. Among those attending the dedication ceremony were Rep. Steve Pearce ’70 (left) and NMSU regent James Manatt ’71 (right). The New Mexico Space Grant Consortium is the first of the country’s 52 Space Grant programs to have its own building.
