Gary S. Geyer, a former vice president for defense systems with Lockheed Martin Astronautics who is co-teaching a class on systems engineering, said Kreiger is serving as a guest lecturer in the course, which is designed to introduce engineering students to the basics of systems engineering in the context of the development of space.
Geyer and Charles E. Boehmer, a former program manager for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Co. and former director of new business development for KinetX Inc., a company that builds satellite command and control software, are co-instructors in the systems engineering class.
