Public meeting scheduled on proposed land use policy
for Chihuahuan Desert Rangeland Research Center

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will hold a public meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6, to invite public feedback on a proposed land use policy for the university’s Chihuahuan Desert Rangeland Research Center.

The meeting will be held in the Otero Room of Corbett Center Student Union on the main campus in Las Cruces. Individuals or organizations wishing to provide comments on the proposed policy are asked to contact Richard Kieser, the university’s director of real estate, at (505) 646-2807 by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.

The proposed policy is on the agenda for the Board of Regents’ regular meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Center on the university’s main campus.
