Old photographs are featured in the New Mexico State University Library’s Rio Grande Historical Collections 2004 calendar, “New Mexico: The Land and Its People.”
The large-sized calendar displays historical images of people working on the land and enjoying the outdoors. The photographs were taken between 1880 and 1940 at White Sands, the Organ Mountains, the farms and ranches of the Mesilla Valley, the Mescalero Apache Reservation and other locations in southern New Mexico.
The price of the calendar has been lowered from $6 to $5. Copies can be purchased at the second-floor offices of NMSU’s Zuhl Library.
