Garrey Carruthers, dean of the College of Business Administration and Economics and chair of the search committee, said screening of applications will begin March 1 and will continue until the position is filled.
The vice provost for research and economic development will report to the provost and is responsible for the administration, service, and promotion of research, scholarly efforts, grants and contracts and, in cooperation with all academic and research units, economic development through the protection and transfer of intellectual property.
The 16-member search committee includes faculty and staff representatives.
