Employer registration has begun for Employment Extravaganza 2005

New Mexico State University and the Dona Ana Branch Community College invite employers to showcase their operations and connect with potential employees at Employment Extravaganza 2005 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 9.

“This collaborative venture is designed to bring students and employers together,” said Steven Salway, director of Placement and Career Services at NMSU. “It will be a dynamic venue where employers from all sectors can provide information to hundreds of candidates on career opportunities and inform them of anticipated openings at all levels of employment – part-time, temporary, summer, internship, co-op and full-time employment.”

Josie Lannert, event coordinator in DABCC’s Career Placement Services, said employers can look for a trained, experienced and highly motivated work force.

“This great collaboration brings a dynamic work force to employers,” Lannert said.
