Educators’ Job Fair to be held April 24 and 25

School districts from all over the nation will come to New Mexico State University to recruit employees at the Educators’ Job Fair, sponsored by NMSU’s Placement and Career Services and the College of Education.

More than 90 school districts will be looking to fill classroom teaching, academic support and administrative positions on April 24 and 25 in the Corbett Center Ballrooms. Some district representatives will be available for informal meetings from 4 to 6 p.m. April 23 in the ballrooms.

“The fair gives candidates the opportunity to identify and secure challenging career opportunities,” said Elizabeth Ortega, event coordinator. “The impressive turnout of districts affords candidates tremendous choices.”

Ortega said education majors, as well as educators from all over the region who are seeking other career opportunities, are invited to attend. They are encouraged to register by April 16 to secure interviews and provide information in advance to employers. However, candidates may also register at the event.
