Steve Holmes is a 1984 NMSU-A graduate and a 1990 Outstanding Graduate in Engineering from NMSU. He has taught 19 years at NMSU-A, and during this time has received the Roush, Outstanding Alumni and Outstanding Regular Faculty Awards. He has also been instrumental in expanding the Electronic Technologies Program (ET) at NMSU-A in the development of four additional components to ET - information technologies, biomedical, renewable energies and construction technology with electrical emphasis.

Dan Kammer, the director of the David Townsend Library at NMSU-A, brought his talent to NMSU-A in 2006. In addition to spearheading some major upgrades to the college library system, he has completely rebuilt the NMSU-A Web site and is the 'unofficial webmaster.' He is the vice president of the New Mexico Library Association and in April will step into the presidency slot.
