    Pete Gnatkowski, agricultural agent for the Lincoln County Cooperative Extension Service, views his role with New Mexico State University as the person people in the community can come to when they have a question about the various aspects of agriculture.

    "Our office is the extension of NMSU in Lincoln county. We are the source of research-based information from our land grant university for clientele away from the Las Cruces campus or branch colleges," Gnatkowski said. "I think you need to be a part of the community, a part of the people's lives in the county to build trust with the people you serve. read more...
