Unproductive and Duplicative Efforts Among University Departments in Seeking Research Funding
Dr. Combs reported to the Chair via telephone that the Sub-committee would have a report early in the Spring semester.
Conflict of Interest
Nellie Quezada-Aragon reported the Disclosure Statement is being reviewed and the Conflict of Interest policy will soon be in place.
b. Nellie Quezada-Aragon, Director of the Office of Sponsored Programs, reported that the University must soon be in compliance with revised Federal Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). The impact of these standards will be significant for all levels of the University. The University Administrative Counsel will approve the CAS Guidelines by April 1996 and they will be in-place by July 1, 1996.
