TSM Backup Services
TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager), previously named ADSM, is a client/server application that lets you back up and restore files from/to your computer over the network. This service is offered to members of the NMSU community and some affiliates through an annual contract.
Features Include:
- Automatic scheduled daily backups
- Backup at any time on demand
- Clients restore their own data at any time
- Works with your desktop computer or departmental servers
- No local tape drives are required. Simply set up the client and schedule automatic backups over the network.
- Both on-site and off-site copies of the data are kept for disaster recovery
