C.A.L.L The Crisis Assistance Listening Line
The Crisis Assistance Listening Line Volunteers Needed!
In June of this year WAVE received a grant from the New Mexico Department of Health to operate a crisis line. The CALL, which will be a 24-hour crisis line for southern New Mexico is scheduled to be fully operational by August and is currently accepting applications for volunteers to operate this important community resource. A forty hour training will be provided August 11-15, with subsequent sessions throughout the semester. Volunteers will be expected to cover a minimum of one four hour shift per week.
