The Master of Data Analytics program at NMSU offers an in-depth understanding of data management, data analysis, and computational and statistical thinking. This online analytics degree equips you with the expertise needed to solve complex data challenges across industries. 

In this interdisciplinary program, you will apply the theories, methodologies, and tools from mathematics, statistics, and computer science to real-world data-rich environments, including fields such as life science, medicine, physical science, social science, engineering, business, and education. The Master of Data Analytics program is composed of 30 graduate credits and offers two possible options. Students may choose to pursue the general Data Analytics program or to complete the program with the Digital Agriculture concentration, which requires 12-14 credit hours in that area.

The admission requirements for the degree program include:   

  • A 3.0 GPA 
  • A personal statement 
  • A resume 
  • An unofficial transcript 

Some experience with programming is preferred but not necessary, and you do not need to provide letters of recommendation or GRE/GMAT scores.
